Search and the command palette

Press ⌘K (or click Search or jump to… in the top bar) to open the command palette — the fastest way to move around Bedrock.

Jump to a doc

Start typing a document's name or words from its content. Bedrock runs a full-text search across your workspace and lists matching docs; press Enter to open the highlighted result, or use the arrow keys to choose.

Run a command

The palette also lists actions you can run without leaving the keyboard:

  • New file… and New window
  • Compose context (open the Context Composer)
  • Open graph view
  • Open prompts (the prompt board)
  • Manage templates
  • Open settings
  • Save snapshot
  • Commit changes… (when the workspace is a git repo)

The search index updates as your docs change, so new and edited files are always findable.
